Founded by systems engineers from the world's largest technology companies and researchers from U.S. Department of Energy national laboratories. Building the multi-silicon AI cloud.
Based in Palo Alto. Operating worldwide.
Yotta Labs is the multi-silicon AI cloud. We run training and inference on the hardware our customers already own, or the hardware they choose next, and match each workload to the silicon it runs best on.
We work with three kinds of teams: frontier AI labs that want an engineering partner through the full model lifecycle, enterprise AI teams running their own models on their own hardware, and data centers with hardware that needs the right software before it can start paying off.
Everything we build starts at the kernel and ends at the cluster: operator-level optimization, a managed orchestration layer, and the operational discipline our team learned running some of the largest systems in the world.
What's in our name
yotta · from the Greek for "eight" — the eighth power of a thousand
A yottaFLOPS is 10²⁴ floating-point operations per second — a million times the scale of the exascale machines at the top of today's supercomputing rankings.
We named the company after the scale AI clusters are heading toward, and the engineering discipline it will take to run them. The number comes from supercomputing. So does our team.
The team
15+ yrs
Average experience across HPC, distributed systems and AI infrastructure
20-50+
Size of the engineering and research teams our founders have led at top-tier companies and DOE national laboratories

Our team's background

Principles
The difference between a GPU cloud and an AI infrastructure partner
Best-fit silicon
Every workload has hardware it runs best on. We find it, then tune for it.
Kernel to cluster
Performance problems don't respect layer boundaries, so we own the whole stack.
Efficiency is the product
Performance per dollar per watt is the number we optimize for. Everything else follows.
Research that ships
We publish it, we open-source it, and we run it in production.
Advisors & Research
Our advisors and university partners connect Yotta Labs' engineering to the research frontier in HPC, systems and applied AI.
