Yotta Labs, builders of the AI Native DeOS for efficient ML and GenAI, today announced its integration with **Walrus**, making Walrus the dedicated data layer for AI workload on the Yotta platform. The partnership delivers **high-performance, lower-cost AI data storage without compromising decentralization**, while paving the way for integration with additional Mysten Labs services — including **Seal** and **Nautilus** — following their mainnet launches. As the **default storage layer** for Yotta, Walrus gives developers **fast, secure, and cost-effective access to the large volumes of artifacts, datasets, and media outputs** generated by AI workflows. Unlike centralized storage, which is prohibitively expensive at scale, or traditional decentralized solutions that lack enterprise-grade performance, Walrus combines **speed, verifiability, and affordability** for AI-native use cases.

> *“Centralized storage is often prohibitively expensive at scale, particularly for training workloads, model checkpoints, and logs,” said Daniel Lee, CEO at Yotta Labs. “Decentralized solutions rarely meet the performance and access requirements AI developers demand. Walrus delivers all of this — and more — making it the right foundation for our users’ AI data infrastructure.”*

Walrus’ architecture also enables **programmable, content-addressable storage**, positioning Yotta to support future innovations such as **Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems** and **decentralized memory architectures for AI agents**.

> *“AI is only as good as the data it’s trained on,” said Rebecca Simmonds, Managing Executive at Walrus Foundation. “With this collaboration, Yotta users no longer need to trade decentralization for performance. Walrus provides the fast, verifiable, and cost-effective data layer that AI workloads require.”*

In addition to Walrus, Yotta Labs will work with Mysten Labs to incorporate **Seal** and **Nautilus** into its AI development suite. Seal’s mainnet launch will introduce **fine-grained access controls and signed URLs**, enabling critical permissioned data workflows.Optimized for efficient machine learning across heterogeneous hardware, Yotta Labs provides an **AI Cloud platform with AI-native tools that simplify orchestration of training, inference, and agent workflows across scalable GPU infrastructure**.
